Who we are

Squad Scraps is a dynamic no-gi jiu jitsu tournament series founded in 2024, dedicated to bringing the St. Louis jiu jitsu community together, raising its profile globally, and elevating the skill level of local practitioners. Unique to the St. Louis area, Squad Scraps hosts team-based events where schools compete by sending a 4-man team with a mix of experience levels, creating an exciting format that challenges competitors in fresh ways. With a commitment to inclusivity, we offer free and donation based entry for spectators and live-streaming so fans worldwide can enjoy the action from home. Founded by members of 10th Planet Tanglefoot and Arnold BJJ, we proudly partner with a variety of local gyms, working together to strengthen the entire St. Louis jiu jitsu community. Our efforts also extend beyond tournaments: any funds we raise go toward hosting seminars, offering discounts to fighters, and continually improving the training landscape in our area. As we kick off a new year, we invite everyone to join us in our mission to grow the St. Louis jiu jitsu scene and bring the spotlight to this talented region.
